Overview

The role is responsible for the local coordination and implementation of project activities at the soum level, supporting the National Project Manager and specialists.

Tasks Summary

• Support National Project Manager and national and international specialists in planning and implementing all activities of the project;
• Is responsible for timely planning and implementation of project activities in the soum;
• Assist in research and studies by collecting primary and secondary data sets and existing materials;
• Support the organization of project discussions, workshops, trainings, and field trips, especially on selected soum level;
• Coordinate and communicate between the local stakeholders, and further develop local project partnership;
• Perform daily tasks including documentation, reporting, scheduling, and other relevant tasks;
• Support the design and tracking of progresses related to the Monitoring and Evaluation plan;
• Help with communication and awareness raising efforts (social media, newsletter, TV campaigns, etc.);
• Perform other duties requested by the project manager or FAOR.

Experience Requirements

Demonstrated minimum 5 years of experience in government, project management, or with international organizations is essential.

Qualification Requirements

A university or college degree in agriculture, environment, or a closely related field is required.

Languages Required: Working knowledge of English.

Contract Duration: 12 months (including a 3 month probation period; with the possibility of a one- year extension)
