Carpe Diem udruga za poticanje i razvoj kreativnih i socijalnih potencijala djece, mladih i odraslih Karlovac, Croatia Volunteer opportunity: Activity for inclusion, Youth Center and Info Center activities
Activity for inclusion - organizing inclusion workshops ( workshops that are empowering their soft skills, such as digital competence skills etc.) for children and youth in alternative care and as well as other children and youth with fewer opportunities. (Short term, from September 2026 till November 2026 and from February 2027 till April 2027) Youth center - interests and needs of youth in the local community - volunteers task will be: preparing and conducting activities/workshops based on their own interests and interests of local youth. For example: foreign language courses, volunteering workshops and various creative, recycling and DIY workshops. (Long term - September 2026 till May 2027) Info Center - volunteers task will be: creating promotional and informational videos, podcast about youth participation in democratic processes, empowering them to be become active in their communities and participation in Eurodesk campaign. (Long term - September 2026 till May 2027) Accommodation, food and transport arrangements Volunteer will be accommodated in a fully equipped flat with two more volunteer. You will be living in a three room flat. You will all have individual rooms. The flat is fully equipped with all necessary facilities (Internet, kitchen, bathroom, heating, hot water, furniture, linen, dishes, etc.) The volunteer will get monthly pocket money (by the ESC Program Guide for Croatia) and food money. Travel costs of the volunteer from to Croatia and back will be reimbursed in accordance with the European Commission distance calculator and European Solidarity Corps Program Guide. Training during the activity Volunteers will be given the opportunity to get an education on how to organize non-formal activities and workshops. Also, they will participate on On-arrival and Mid-term training (for long term volunteers) organized by the Croatian National Agency. Participant profile Our main target group is young people aged 15-30. The main topics of our activities are non-formal education, youth information, leisure activities, youth mobility and volunteering, so we will be looking for a responsible and motivated person that is 18+, willing to learn, open to creativity, to have some initiative and to have their own ideas on how to contribute to the Youth center. Previous knowledge isn't a necessity.
