Overview

The role is responsible for building and expanding networks with relevant actors in the city of Hannover, representing IRC in local networks, and contributing to the planning, organization, and documentation of exchange rounds.

Tasks Summary
  • Responsible for long-term relationship building and network expansion with relevant actors in the city of Hannover.
  • Represent IRC on specialist topics in local networks within the city.
  • Co-responsible for the planning, organization, and documentation of regular specialist exchange rounds.
  • Act as a liaison within the project for building and improving referral advice, e.g., for referrals to authorities, educational institutions, job centers, daycare centers, and the healthcare system.
  • Develop recommendations with the specialist for social and migration policy and network and cooperation partners for the sustainability of cross-legal-circle cooperation with local actors (e.g., youth welfare, job center, or schools).
  • Work to positively influence regulations and processes for the benefit of families affected by poverty.
Experience Requirements
  • At least two years of relevant work experience.
  • Very good prior knowledge of the topic of families affected by poverty, especially regarding different consulting and benefit options.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant actors in the field of family support, social counseling, and labor market integration in Hannover.
  • Existing contacts and networks are an advantage.
  • Experience in organizing and moderating exchange rounds and in network maintenance is ideal.
Qualification Requirements

• A recognized degree in Germany or comparable verifiable qualifications.

Other Details

Languages Required: • German and English language skills at least at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: Initially limited until 31.12.2028

Work Modality: Arbeitsort sind die IRC-Projekträume in Hannover.

Remuneration: • An entry salary of 42,706 gross per year (for full-time, 40 hours/week) and an annual salary adjustment.
