Overview
This consultancy aims to develop standardized, practice-oriented, and competency-based training modules for School-Based Child Protection Committees (SBCPC) and relevant district-level coordination mechanisms. The goal is to strengthen capacity-building modules for effective, survivor-centered, and inclusive implementation of school-based child protection systems.
Tasks Summary
- Finalize training content, reflecting the syllabus.
- Meet with Save the Children to discuss learning objectives and source material.
- Review existing KREASI training materials to identify suitable content and gaps.
- Embed climate change, gender equality, disability, and social inclusion (GEDSI) considerations.
- Develop the SBCPC & Case Management Training Module in Indonesian language.
- Develop the SBCPC ToT Training Module in Indonesian language.
- Co-facilitate a five-day, in-person Training of Master Trainers in Jakarta.
- Develop and implement mechanisms to gather participant feedback and assess trainer readiness.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience in implementing child protection approaches such as case management, community-based child protection (PATBM) or school-based child protection (TPPK).
- Proven experience in design and delivery of Training of Trainers (ToT) programs for community members and teachers concerned with child protection.
- Experience ensuring training materials are trauma-informed, gender-responsive and inclusive of children with disabilities and socially-marginalized groups.
- Demonstrated abilities in adult learning facilitation, coaching and mentoring, and observation–feedback cycles.
- Experience developing facilitator guides, session plans and observation tools.
- Familiarity with Indonesian child protection laws and policies.
- Candidates who have experience leading child protection trainings in low-resource settings is preferred.
Qualification Requirements
• Advanced degree (MA or PhD) in Education, Social Sciences, Communications, International Development, or a related field.
