Overview
The Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) Officer will monitor the implementation of livelihood activities in the Bekaa area, identify and address humanitarian needs, and ensure activities are implemented according to plan and with high technical quality.
Tasks Summary
- Prepare work plans, monitor, and follow up.
- Contribute to data entry, collection, and analysis.
- Organize and conduct trainings for beneficiaries.
- Contribute to tools’ development for programme implementation.
- Coordinate with logistics on procurements.
- Follow up and monitor implementing partner’s activities.
- Prepare cash transfer documents and follow up with recipients.
- Train and coach FSL assistants.
- Provide technical support and trainings for partner staff.
- Act as a liaison between communities and the Save the Children office.
- Maintain good relationships with beneficiaries and local leaders/authorities.
- Represent Save the Children in the field.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in development programs, preferably working in food security and livelihoods, and with experience in cash programs.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Experience in data collection.
- Experience in field work and community mobilization.
- Experience in training groups of beneficiaries.
Qualification Requirements
Degree in Economics, International Relations, Development studies or similar field
