Overview

Support in the coordination, implementation, and drafting of project activities, and provide administrative and logistical support to ensure project results.

Tasks Summary
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of project activities.
  • Provide support to projects’ monitoring and evaluation activities, data collection, and database updates.
  • Assist in preparing progress reports, identifying issues, risks, and proposing remedial actions.
  • Participate in project activities such as meetings and conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with UNDP rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Support contract administration with service providers, including payment processing.
  • Digitize project documents and maintain filing systems.
  • Support the design and implementation of environmental proposals, including stakeholder consultations and database maintenance.
  • Support the management of content for the TCE website.
  • Support the organization and implementation of Environmental Assessment Visits.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for meetings, training sessions, workshops, and events.
  • Assist in managing project finances, processing invoices, and maintaining budgetary controls.
  • Assist in procurement processes, including preparing documentation and supporting administrative steps.
  • Assist in drafting terms of reference for consultants and contractors and support their recruitment.
  • Assist project teams, experts, and consultants with travel and logistics.
  • Coordinate and organize trainings, field visits, missions, and conferences.
  • Support knowledge building, knowledge sharing, and capacity building activities.
  • Disseminate and share relevant data and lessons learned.
Experience Requirements

Minimum five (5) years (with secondary education) or two (2) years (with bachelor’s degree) of working experience in the field of Programme/ project support or other related fields.

Qualification Requirements

Secondary education is required. University degree (Bachelor’s Level Degree) in an Environmental discipline including Biology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology or equivalent will be given due consideration, but it is not a requirement.
