Overview
The Health Specialist supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of health systems strengthening programs, including the Basic Package of Health Services and Essential Package of Hospital Services, to achieve sustainable results.
Tasks Summary

Experience Requirements
- A minimum of five years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: health systems strengthening, public health planning and management, maternal and neonatal health care.
- Experience working in a developing country is required.
- Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
- Experience working on projects funded by the WB and/or ADB is an asset.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
Qualification Requirements
- An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: public health, health systems strengthening, health policy and/or management, or another relevant technical field.
- A first University Degree in a relevant field combined with 2 additional years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an Advanced University Degree.
