Overview
The Information Management Officer will be responsible for sharing operational information, monitoring and reporting on ETC performance, and advocacy for ETC Palestine operations.
Tasks Summary
- Coordinate reporting activities relating to ETC Palestine operations.
- Write regular Situation Reports, factsheets, infographics and other IM and advocacy products.
- Assist in writing and editing other reports or documentation such as Concept of Operations (ConOps), project documents, concept notes, presentations and funding appeals.
- Provide inputs to OCHA and WFP Palestine Country Office products.
- Manage content of ETC Palestine country operations page.
- Establish and maintain ETC Palestine country mailing lists.
- Advise on internal information sharing mechanisms, documentation formats and templates.
- Coordinate global and local ETC Palestine working group meetings.
- Monitor the shared ETC Palestine email account.
- Develop and distribute ETC Palestine User Feedback Survey.
- Prepare and edit ETC Palestine content for news releases, feature articles, stories, briefing notes, and other materials.
- Act as an information focal point for ETC Palestine activities.
- Support the procurement of ETC Palestine visibility items.
- Liaise with donors, NGOs and other UN agencies.
- Attend and represent ETC Palestine in relevant meetings and local inter-agency IM Working Group.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
A minimum of three (03) years of postgraduate professional experience in information management, communications or other related fields. Experience in working in international contexts is required. Experience in working in emergency settings, hardship locations or humanitarian context is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
Advanced University degree in social sciences, international relations, communications, journalism or related field or First level University degree with additional years of working experience.
