Overview

The Expert Educational Planner will support the planning and management of education services, including school mapping, financial simulations, digital EMIS development, and policy evaluation, contributing to data-driven decision-making and efficient resource allocation.

Tasks Summary

• Support the development, revision, and implementation of UNRWA's multi-year education strategy and operational workplans.
• Prepare financial simulations on staffing needs, cost-saving scenarios, and quality-enhancement investments.
• Lead or support the annual class formation/school mapping processes across five fields.
• Support the modernization of the Education Management Information System (EMIS).
• Oversee the development of monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
• Provide technical assistance and capacity building to education and planning staff.

Experience Requirements

7 years of relevant experience.

Qualification Requirements

Master's degree in Education Planning, Economics of Education, Public Policy, or related field. A bachelor's degree + 10 years of relevant experience may be accepted.
