Overview

Providing Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) to raise awareness and promote behavioral change towards Explosive Ordnance to reduce the risk of injury from mines and ERW.

Tasks Summary

• Conduct EORE training in different villages according to SOP.
• Be responsible for EORE training material condition and quantities.
• Have appropriate preparation and arrangement of training facilities.
• Explain the aim of short EORE films to trainees.
• Provide Explosive Ordnance Risk Education in EO impacted communities.
• Conduct EORE sessions in Pashto and Dari languages.
• Do an evaluation of understanding of participants.
• Keep record of daily, weekly and monthly EORE activities.
• Report progress weekly and monthly.
• Report to DMAC RO on any newly discovered EO accidents, incidents, SHAs, mines and ERWs.
• Collect and compile UXO hotline information.
• Ensure good communication and coordination with team members and local communities.
• Follow up DRC operational work plan.
• Brief visitors, EORE coordinator and internal/external QA.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by the team leader.
• Liaise, assist and coordinate with other EORE Facilitators.

Experience Requirements

• 1 year experience in EORE (Explosive Ordinance Risk Education)
• A good knowledge of liaison and communication

Qualification Requirements

• High school
