Overview

The intern will support the operational activities of the HR Team across the employee lifecycle, including administrative support, time and attendance administration, and recruitment administration.

Tasks Summary
  • Preparation of employee certificates
  • Drafting of reference letters
  • Maintenance and compliance of personnel files
  • Archiving HR documentation
  • Daily absence registration and tracking
  • Preparation and administration of extended leaves (e.g. parental leave, special leave)
  • Support in vacancy advertisements and pre-screening of applications
  • Assistance with compliance and background checks
  • Scheduling of interviews and assessments
Experience Requirements

Less than two years of relevant working experience.

Qualification Requirements
  • Student or graduate, preferably in Human Resources, Psychology, Social and/or Political Sciences, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent) or have graduated in the last 12 months.
Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in English and German (written and spoken) is required

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of another official IOM language (French, Spanish) is an advantage

Contract Duration: 2-6 months

Work Modality:

Remuneration: Depending on experience and location, interns are granted a small monthly stipend to help offset costs.
