Overview
Internship to support the Project Management Unit in day-to-day project coordination, monitoring, documentation, and knowledge management activities for climate resilience interventions.
Tasks Summary
- Conduct desk research on climate-resilient urban development, urban planning policies, and sustainable infrastructure.
- Assist in compiling and organizing project-related documents.
- Assist in planning, logistics, and coordination for project workshops, training, and stakeholder meetings.
- Prepare meeting notes and follow-up action lists.
- Support data gathering from field offices, municipalities, and project partners.
- Assist in basic data entry, compilation, and preliminary analysis.
- Support ad-hoc project tasks including correspondence, filing, and coordination with RPs and external stakeholders.
Experience Requirements
Preference will be given to graduates with a field of study in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Environmental Studies, Development Studies, Public Policy, Economics, Geography, or other relevant disciplines.
Qualification Requirements
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as a master’s programme, or higher);
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent);
- Have recently graduated with a university degree (as defined in (1) and (2) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation;
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program and undertake the internship as part of this program.
