Overview

Consultant to support the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) in coordinating project activities related to teachers as lifelong learners. The role involves supporting the finalization of research outputs and the development of new project documents.

Tasks Summary

• Coordinate copy-editing and graphic design for research outputs.
• Develop presentations and visual materials for Phase 1 findings.
• Facilitate integration of external consultancy teams for Phase 2 documents.
• Conduct additional literature reviews for Phase 2 content.
• Evaluate technical documents and provide feedback.
• Manage workflow between consultants and Publications Unit.
• Lead logistics for online feedback sessions and consultative meetings/workshops.
• Consolidate expert recommendations from workshops.
• Prepare and finalize module content for digital platforms.
• Identify and engage country representatives for online workshops.
• Organize coordination meetings with partner institutions.
• Maintain administrative and communication records.
• Present project progress and draft project-related presentations.

Experience Requirements

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in education, preferably one year in an international context.

Qualification Requirements

Master’s degree in education, preferably in teacher education, adult education, lifelong learning, education policy, or related fields in social sciences.

Languages Required: Proficiency in English

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of other UN languages is an asset.

Contract Duration: From 7 to 11 months

Work Modality: home-based in any location and can be done by working remotely
