Overview

The Programme Officer (HACT) provides technical, operational, and administrative assistance throughout the programme cycle by integrating HACT plans into programming activities and ensuring adherence to HACT rules and procedures.

Tasks Summary

• Support HACT planning during the programming process.
• Support the implementation of HACT activities.
• Review and use HACT reports.
• Engage in networking and inter-agency partnerships.
• Contribute to innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of one year of professional experience in programme development/management, financial planning and management, or another related area is required.
• Experience working in a developing country is considered an asset.
• Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered an asset.

Qualification Requirements

A university degree in Development studies, International Development, Business Administration, Financial Management, Economics, Auditing, Project/Programme Management or another relevant technical field is required.

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in English is required.

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of another official UN language or local language of the duty station is considered an asset.
