Country: Ukraine Description of the Assignment: National Expert on Harmonization of EU Legislation (Ambient Air Quality) Type of position: National Duty Station: Home-based Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 6 months Main objectives of the assignment: The main objective of the assignment is to provide legal, analytical and methodological support to ensure the full and effective transposition and implementation of Directive (EU) 2024/2881 into the national legislation of Ukraine, taking into account the continuity, evolution and strengthened requirements originating from Directives 2004/107/EC and 2008/50/EC. The assignment aims to align the national ambient air quality monitoring system with European practices and to establish a robust regulatory and legal framework enabling Ukraine’s integration into the European air quality monitoring and assessment network.
