Overview

The Field Monitoring Officer will monitor the implementation of community-based and disability-related interventions, gather lessons learned, and contribute to data collection and reporting.

Tasks Summary
  • Assist in monitoring community-based and disability-related interventions.
  • Conduct field visits to verify progress and assess implementation quality.
  • Establish and maintain networks with partners and stakeholders.
  • Gather and document lessons learned, best practices, and success stories.
  • Support the development and implementation of field-level monitoring tools.
  • Contribute to data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Support planning and follow-up of social cohesion, community engagement, and disability interventions.
  • Prepare field visit reports, photographs, and beneficiary quotations.
  • Assist in ensuring community engagement principles are reflected in project implementation.
  • Support community focused groups in developing resilience and inclusion plans.
  • Identify and refer risks, challenges, and grievances.
  • Provide technical and logistical support for community events.
  • Support documentation of impact stories and field highlights.
  • Provide field inputs and data for communication materials.
  • Facilitate and support field visits by donors and government representatives.
  • Maintain updated records, photos, and beneficiary profiles.
  • Contribute to presentations and progress summaries.
Experience Requirements
  • 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination and management or any development-related field of study.
  • Experience working in an international setting or developing countries is an asset.
  • Knowledge of UNDP is desirable.
  • Experience working with marginalized communities on community planning and social considerations/challenges and initiatives is desirable.
Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration or a relevant field

Languages Required: • Arabic, Level: Native language, Required • English, Level: Working knowledge, Required

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)

Work Modality: Onsite

Remuneration: • A Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) of ILS 6,269 is provided monthly to cover housing, utilities and normal cost of living expenses. • Life, health and permanent disability insurance are included (health insurance for up to 3 dependents). • Exit allowance for satisfactory service.
