Kaunas Artists’ House brings fresh and unexpected cultural experiences, connecting local and international communities, and promoting openness and inclusion through culture. Kaunas Artists’ House is always on the lookout for new ideas, young artists, and diverse audiences through artist residencies, cultural education programs, and community events. Tasks: Assisting in and leading educational activities with different groups of teenagers; Preparing for events and helping to maintain the place: organizing the venue, creating the physical atmosphere, greeting guests; Distributing promotional material and promoting our work to foreigners living in Kaunas; Organizing parts of big events together with local volunteers; Doing your own project according to our organization's values and standards; Accommodation, food and transport arrangements ✨Accommodation in a private room in a shared apartment ✨Monthly ticket for public transport ✨Monthly food and pocket money Training during the activity ✨On-arrival and mid-term trainings ✨Monthly volunteer group meetings and meetings with a mentor ✨Online Lithuanian language classes ✨Organization of solidarity and volunteering events Participant profile We are looking for a person who is curious and open-minded, communicative, and able to work on a changing schedule (as every week is a bit different, depending on the projects we work on). Previous experience in art isn't necessary, but an interest in art, social justice, and politics would be welcomed. You will: - join an open-minded community of creatives; - get to know the cultural life of Kaunas in particular and Lithuania in general; - get a chance to understand your intentions in cultural/educational fields and gain experience working on various projects.
