Overview
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-kept office, guesthouse, and compound environment. Ensures high standards of hygiene and facility upkeep, while providing basic logistics and movement support.
Tasks Summary
- Maintain guesthouse rooms and offices including toilets and bathrooms clean.
- Do laundry and iron bedsheets, pillow sheets, and clothes at the guesthouse.
- Do bed preparation and prepare rooms when visitors come to the guesthouse.
- Dusting/cleaning of office equipment like copiers, furniture, windows, and floors.
- Getting rid of cobwebs in and around the office and guesthouse.
- Getting rid of unwanted grass growing within the compound.
- Ensure supplies such as tissues are placed out in offices when supplies are low.
- Make requests for hygiene products like detergents, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies.
- Maintain proper records of all office and guesthouse supplies.
- Make sure that toilets/latrines are supplied with toilet paper rolls, water, and soap.
- Proper collection of rubbish in one central location for disposal and providing containers for rubbish in offices.
- Cleaning guesthouse store on a weekly basis or as when needed.
- Assist with loading, off-loading, and movement of office supplies, furniture, boxes, and equipment.
- Support setting up meeting rooms, training venues, and office spaces.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing deliveries.
- Support minor office relocations, rearrangements, or workspace setup.
- Help maintain cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas and logistics spaces.
- Provide general manual support during distributions, events, or operational activities.
- Monitor and report any irregularities in the office and guesthouse.
Experience Requirements
- Previous Experience in a Humanitarian INGO, hotel or restaurant in a similar capacity
- Able to fill the stock book and count inventory.
Qualification Requirements
• SSCE, High school diploma or equivalent.
