Overview
Provide secretarial and programme support to Technical Officers within the Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia.
Tasks Summary
- Assist in organizing technical workshops and international meetings, including logistics, invitations, visa arrangements, and on-site support.
- Assist in recruiting affiliate personnel using TALEO, including reviewing applications and preparing interview minutes.
- Assist with procurement of products and services, and preparation/implementation of Letters of Agreement.
- Assist in travel arrangements for field missions and technical events, and prepare claims for technical support.
- Maintain, log, and file records, and update project status files.
- Assist in daily office duties, reporting, routine tasks, and correspondence, including translations.
- Collect and process data and information on development/subject-matter activities.
- Collect and prepare background material, working papers, and tables for supervisor review.
- Organize and schedule meetings, take minutes and notes.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Experience Requirements
- One year of relevant experience in secretarial and clerical/programme work.
- Experience in record-keeping and processing of information.
Qualification Requirements
• Completed secondary school education.
