Overview

This role is responsible for supervising movement operations activities in the field, with a focus on beneficiary-facing activities. The primary purpose is to organize, coordinate, and manage movements for individuals requiring international migration assistance.

Tasks Summary
  • Supervise teams undertaking beneficiary-facing activities.
  • Oversee field support activities relating to movement operations.
  • Coordinate the transportation of beneficiaries.
  • Oversee the timely and appropriate provision of food and other essential items.
  • Oversee the coordination of cases with special needs.
  • Oversee pre-departure formalities.
  • Coordinate and/or provide selection mission support and interpretation services.
  • Coordinate provision of visa applicants with application assistance.
  • Liaise with other teams, units, and external partners.
  • Coordinate with administrative heads, relevant units, partners, and vendors.
  • Oversee beneficiary-facing activities ensuring programme integrity.
  • Assist with relevant policy and operational input for programmatic reviews.
  • Assist with financial activities related to movement operations.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of relevant Movement Operations SOPs and Movements-related systems and databases.
  • Uphold RMM Protection Mainstreaming Minimum Standards.
  • Alert the supervisor or management of any non-compliance.
Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma with seven years of work experience; or, Bachelor’s degree with five years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior Movement Operations, transportation-related and/or management experience is strongly preferred.
  • Work experience in programs including movement operations component, particularly in resettlement programs.
  • Experience with supervising multiple teams.
  • Experience with communicating with beneficiaries and external partners.
  • Experience with handling issues in other countries in the Region.
  • Experience with handling complex cases and workflow.
  • Experience with filling management-level roles.
Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, International Relations, Regional Studies or a related field from an accredited academic institution.

Other Details

Languages Required: • Fluency in English is required (oral and written). • Oral and written fluency in Arabic is required based on operational needs.

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: 1 year with possibility of extension
