Support the preparation of Bahrain’s National Human Development Report 2026, focusing on digital transformation and human development.

Tasks Summary

• Conduct targeted desk research on digital transformation, digital inclusion, and human development.
• Identify international best practices and case studies relevant to Bahrain’s digital agenda.
• Support the drafting of 3 short research briefs, background notes, or annotated summaries to inform the NHDR.
• Compile annotated summaries of key reports and datasets related to digitalisation and the SDGs.
• Support the UNDP team with clear, well-structured written inputs that feed directly into a UN flagship publication.

Experience Requirements

• Professional in digital technologies, public policy, social sciences, international development, or related fields.
• At least 2 years' experience.
• Ability to conduct online research, summarize complex information, and write clearly.
• Interest in digital innovation, technology for development, or the SDGs.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to meet agreed deadlines.
