PSP Associate (Business Analyst)

Overview

The incumbent will assist the Global Operations team in maintaining and improving planning and reporting tools for fundraising activities.

Tasks Summary

• Design and deliver web interfaces across the PSP global operations intranet platform.
• Create, design, and maintain SharePoint site collections, sites, pages, lists and libraries.
• Design application templates, develop use cases and test cases, and perform software testing.
• Contribute to the redevelopment and enhancement of PSP Web Applications and data models.
• Monitor and track progress on agreed action points and manage issues related to PSP Web Application.
• Develop, maintain, and update user guides for PSP Web Applications and other systems.
• Provide and maintain user access and permission for PSP Web Applications and PSP Digital Workplace.
• Collaborate with business users to translate objectives, requirements, and process flows into functional specification.
• Design and implement custom solutions and workflow automations using Microsoft Form, Microsoft Power Apps, and Microsoft Power Automate.
• Develop, maintain, and update internal guidelines and documentation.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining a comprehensive database for the annual Resource Allocation Process.
• Prepare reference files for Quarterly Report and Planning.
• Support the team and PSP network in validating, consolidating, and interpreting data.
• Design, develop, and deliver Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Analyze UNHCR Financial ERP and Synergy transactions to verify data accuracy.
• Prepare, validate, and submit data for corporate reporting exercises.
• Provide support to fundraising network end-users for established reporting queries.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the team.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience with a High School Diploma and 2 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous working experience with the UN and/or exposure to work in similar contexts is considered an advantage.
• Experienced in using Business Intelligence Solutions (reports, dashboards, scorecards) using Microsoft Power Query, Power View, Power BI, and Excel.
• Experience in developing business intelligence solutions, including reports, dashboards, and scorecards, using Microsoft Power Query, Power View, and Power BI, DAX, as well as custom solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Microsoft Power Automate and SQL.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Access.
• Strong knowledge of Office 365 and SharePoint information delivery tools, or equivalent technologies.

Qualification Requirements

• High School Degree required
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in fields like Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information System, or related field

Contract Duration: This position is initially up to the end of the year with possibility of extension subject to budget availability and overall performance of the incumbent.
