Overview

Manages day-to-day Branch operations, overseeing finance, cashiering, accounts, and administrative functions to ensure high performance standards and quality service delivery.

Tasks Summary
  • Manages the day-to-day Branch operations and provides guidance, encourages teamwork, facilitates related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Oversee the finance, cashiering, accounts and administrative functions to ensure sound management of the Branch and the safety of its assets through the proper implementation of financial, administrative procedures and guidelines; coordinates with MD Field Accounting Officer on matters relating to Accounts and cash.
  • Is responsible for the cost-efficiency of his/her Branch; sets targets for each product and oversees the work of Area Loan Supervisors to ensure achieving the set targets for the units, and affiliated offices, if any.
  • Reviews, verifies and recommends/approves the loans according to each product’s procedural manual and each case merit; continuously, monitors their performance; collects the written-off portfolio through the delegated legal follow-up to the Compliance Consultant to ensure efficient recovery of the delinquent loan/s.
  • Monitors the market changes that affect the MD operational activities, with special emphasis on the Branch loans; analyses and advises management of for proper adaptation.
  • Prepares monthly and periodic reports on Branch activities, including active products and their performance, profit/lost, and other ad-hoc reports, as required by Field and HQs management.
  • Monitors the Branch staff performance and coordinates with the Chief, Field Microfinance Programme their capacity building to ensure they are well equipped with the required knowledge to enhance their performance; is responsible for the induction of new staff/personnel.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Experience Requirements
  • Six years’ experience in management of cash transactions, banking, credit or finance management.
  • Experience with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
Qualification Requirements

A university degree from an accredited institution in accountancy, finance, banking or business administration.

Languages Required: English is required. Arabic is required.

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: Fixed-Term Appointment for 1 year, including 1 year probation period, with the possibility of further extension, subject to the availability of funds, satisfactory performance and continuing need.

Work Modality:

Remuneration: Monthly basic salary JD 1098.900 fils. Senior Professional Officer Allowance (SPOA) 25% of basic salary. Other benefits include monthly Provident Fund contribution (15.4% of basic salary paid by the Agency), compulsory medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave, and dependency allowance (if applicable). Additional benefits: - 2 days of sick leave for each completed month of service. - 14 weeks of Maternity Leave. - 2 weeks paternity leave.
