Internship Pipeline - MTBF (Budget and Finance)

Overview

The internship provides an opportunity to gain practical work experience in financial operations within the Division of Budget and Finance, assisting with various tasks and projects to improve efficiency.

Tasks Summary

• Assists with gathering information and financial data for financial reports and change initiatives.
• Assists with the design, testing, and implementation of new solutions.
• Assists with the review and documentation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assists with planning, implementation, and monitoring of specific tasks or projects.
• Assists in drafting reports, meeting minutes, and preparing presentation materials.
• Provides assistance and support with monitoring financial transactions, reconciliation of accounts, month and year-end closing activities, and operational activities.

Experience Requirements

Qualification Requirements

• University degree in finance, accounting, business administration, information management, mathematics or statistics.
• Completed at least three years of full-time studies at a university or equivalent institution towards the completion of a first degree.
• May apply up to one year after the completion of a bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree.

Other Details

Languages Required: Good written and spoken English essential

Languages Preferred: fluency in any other IAEA official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Spanish or Russian) an asset

Contract Duration: normally not less than three months and not more than one year
