Internship - Procurement and Invoice Control

Overview

This internship provides practical experience in acquiring goods, managing vendor relationships, and handling invoicing procedures for the Vienna International Center Commissary.

Tasks Summary

• Perform analyses on sales performance, procurement patterns and assortment optimization.
• Perform market research on potential new listings and suppliers and monitor market prices.
• Investigate listing opportunities coming from product suggestions or special orders.
• Support the Procurement team with processing purchase orders, ensuring compliance with Commissary rules and procedures.
• Support the Invoice Control team with monitoring and processing invoices, credit notes, declarations, tax exemption and customs documents.

Experience Requirements

Previous experience in procurement and/or invoicing functions or in a commercial role is an asset.

Qualification Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance/Accounting, Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
• Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), especially advanced Excel knowledge.

Languages Required: Excellent written and spoken English essential

Languages Preferred: Fluency in German or any other IAEA official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) an asset. Fluency in any other IAEA official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Spanish or Russian) an asset.
