Overview
The consultant will conduct an independent external review of the Regional Action Forum (RAF) to assess its relevance, effectiveness, and impact, and to determine a sustainable way forward.
Tasks Summary
- Analyze the RAF platform's scope, relevance, and purpose.
- Assess RAF’s way of working and coordination with members.
- Evaluate the quality of work related to child marriage prevention and response.
- Examine potential engagement with girls, women, survivors of child marriage, and the private sector.
- Determine the sustainability of RAF and propose a way forward.
Experience Requirements
- Demonstrated technical expertise in gender equality, prevention of harmful practices, child protection, and/or social norms change.
- Proven ability to translate evidence-based approaches into effective programme design and implementation.
- At least 5 years' experience conducting qualitative research, including stakeholder interviews and analytical reporting.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills, with a track record of producing concise, high-quality evaluation reports.
Qualification Requirements
• Advanced university degree (Masters) in public relations, international development studies, social sciences, public policy or a related field.
