Overview
Support research, knowledge management, and technical assistance in the climate and child health component of the Healthy Environments for Healthy Children programme.
Tasks Summary
- Develop and update technical content on climate and child health, including global situation analysis, technical briefs, training packages, advocacy messages, human interest stories, investment cases/proposals, videos, and e-learning modules.
- Develop and maintain the ‘climate and child health’ and air pollution technical components on the global collaborative portal, including organizing webinars, drafting web pages and stories, maintaining a resource library, and engaging with partners.
- Provide technical assistance to HEHC programme countries on ‘climate and child health’ technical components, including online and on-site support, contributing to country research, participation in meetings, and programme progress analysis and report writing.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of eight years of progressively responsible professional experience in public health and country-level programming.
- Technical expertise on climate adaptation and public health.
- Proven experience in drafting programmes and strategies, research and policy advocacy.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Previous experience of working with UNICEF/ UN is an asset.
Qualification Requirements
• Advanced university degree (Masters) in Public Health or other related field.
