Overview
Internship positions are available within the HR Unit and Partnership, Reports & Communications unit. The purpose of these roles is to deliver standard business support processes for specific professional areas and provide technical support to the indicated units.
Tasks Summary
- HR Intern:
- Assistance on general HR queries and follow up actions.
- Use HR management systems for entering and updating HR data.
- Extract and compile HR data on staff recruitment and selection, contractual conditions, entitlements, performance and training requirements.
- Provide administrative support in various HR activities including recruitment and on boarding.
- Maintain confidential personnel records, HR databases and archives.
Partnership Intern:
- Support the Partnerships, Communications, and Reports (PRC) team in preparing presentations, briefing notes and other donor-facing materials.
- Assist with organising donor visits, mission and events.
- Contribute to the development of advocacy and communication products.
- Conduct basic research on potential partners, funding opportunities and thematic areas.
- Assist in drafting donor-facing products.
- Help with editing and formatting reports for partners and internal use.
- Assist the PRC team with internal communications and staff training materials.
Experience Requirements
Qualification Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate programme (e.g., bachelor’s degree) from a recognised university and have completed at least two years of the programme.
- Currently enrolled in a graduate programme (e.g., master's degree) from a recognised university.
- Recent graduate from an undergraduate or graduate programme (within six months prior to the application) from a recognised university.
- Studies in International Relations, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, Economics and other related field of study.
- Proficiency in Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
