Humanitarian Mine Action Assistant (NTS/EORE Assistant)

The role involves implementing Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) and Non-technical Survey (NTS) activities under the guidance of a supervisor.

Conduct direct and online EORE sessions for adults, adolescents and children and distribute EORE informational materials.
Implement NTS processes by collecting evidence of contamination through document analysis, interviews, focus group discussions, and visual observations.
Complete basic EORE/NTS documentation accurately and upload data and supporting documentation into the information management system.
Participate in the development of activity workplans and follow them accordingly.
Liaise with DRC Humanitarian Demining, Victim Assistance, and other DRC sectors.
Liaise with community members to facilitate information exchange and support community needs assessments.
Support procurement efforts, including developing the required documentation, upon request.

1 year of practical experience in the relevant field, preferably in NGO.
Experience working with diverse communities, including children and adolescents.

Completed higher education.

Languages Required: Fluent in Ukrainian language; basic English skills.

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: 3-month probation period, with the possibility of extension subject to funding and satisfactory performance.
