Overview
Contributes to the implementation and monitoring of ICRC activities in the areas of Protection, with a particular focus on humanitarian services related to the Protection of Family Links.
Tasks Summary
- Contribute to the implementation of ICRC Protection activities in Kazakhstan.
- Serve as a focal point for ICRC Protection activities, with a particular focus on humanitarian services related to the Protection of Family Links (PFL).
- Receive, process, and ensure appropriate follow-up of requests from beneficiaries.
- Collect tracing cases from enquirers as required.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and confidential follow-up of individual cases.
- Enter and process identity- and event-related data linked to Protection activities.
- Support the Data Officer in Tashkent in preparing working lists and relevant information.
- Monitor and analyze developments in the general and humanitarian context.
- Support colleagues in the organization of regional and national meetings, conferences, and events.
- Represents the ICRC within the scope of assigned expertise.
- Draft meeting minutes, institutional reports, briefing notes, and other required documentation.
- Manage correspondence accurately and maintain effective filing and archiving systems.
- Provide translation and/or interpretation services between Kazakh, Russian, and English as required.
- Manage assigned budgets and monitor their implementation.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of work experience (preferably in a similar field of activity).
- Experience in humanitarian sector an asset.
Qualification Requirements
• Diploma or degree in Political Science, Social Sciences, Humanities, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
