Provide technical urban support to municipal transformative projects, monitor project progress, and contribute to knowledge exchange and reporting.
A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in project or program formulation and management, event/seminar management, or related areas is required. General understanding of development paradigms of urban topics is desirable. International experience is an asset, especially with the United Nations System, familiarity with UN-Habitat New Urban Agenda, UN Reform agenda, SDG’s and related global initiatives is desirable.
Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in architecture, urbanism, social sciences, international relations or related fields is required. A first level degree with an additional two years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree.
Languages Required: Fluency in spoken and written English is required. Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is also required.
