International Individual Consultant: Multimedia and Graphic Design [Remote]

Overview

UNFPA Pacific is seeking a Multimedia and Graphic Design Consultant to produce and design communication and visibility products, including videos, photo essays, publications, and infographics, to support the office's communication goals.

Tasks Summary

• Deliver high quality edited videos.
• Deliver creative and innovative ideas for print, electronic, web based and animated presentations.
• Design and lay-out of reports and other products.
• Improve and edit art-work, photos, charts and other graphic elements.
• Layout and design of information and communication materials including large publications and reports, booklets and leaflets, factsheets, posters, banners, Infographics, calendars, annual reports, social media graphics and other visibility and advocacy items.

Experience Requirements

At least 5 years of relevant experience in multimedia production; Strong theoretical and practical background in multimedia techniques, including the use of editing and design softwares such as Adobe CC, InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop, knowledge of video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro and After effects.; Proven experience of multimedia production from start to finalized products with knowledge of printing processes (offset and digital) and colour management; Good understanding of new and evolving technologies and digital platforms; Knowledge of standard software packages, including MS Office – MS Access – MS Vision-Adobe-Acrobat

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, , fine arts or closely related field;

Other Details

Languages Required: Excellent written and spoken English.

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of the Pacific languages is an asset
