Overview

Seeking professionals to support and/or deliver aircrew training programmes. Roles include Quality/Compliance Assurance Manager and Mission Simulator Operator.

Tasks Summary
  • Oversee aircrew training, devices, and systems.
  • Act as Wing administrator for Statements of Need.
  • Manage programme funding and ensure contract compliance through auditing.
  • Manage information and projects related to training operations.
  • Support the operation of Mission Simulators, including academic instruction and hands-on training.
  • Develop realistic and effective Mission Scenarios.
Experience Requirements
  • Grade 15: Sufficient post related professional experience.
  • Grade 12: Sufficient post related professional experience.
  • Principal Quality/Compliance Assurance Manager: Professional and documented experience in Quality Management/Compliance Management, process management/continuous improvement, internal auditing, project management, information management. 5 years post related experience.
  • Principal Mission Simulator Operator: Experience in delivering learning activities to a variety of audiences. Completed military specialist training in military Air Defence/ licensed operational Air Defence functions. Previous experience as E-3 Tactical Director, Weapons, Surveillance or Passive Controller.
  • Desirable (Grade 15): Extensive experience working in a complex environment, with operations, logistics, or information technology background. Experience with NATO or a National Military HQ. Experience from private enterprise at corporate level. Experience related to team/crew training efforts.
  • Desirable (Grade 12): Previous NATO assignment. Experience working in an international military environment. Knowledge in Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) weapons, surveillance, Electronic Support Measures (ESM) and air battle management functions. Previous professional experience as an E-3A mission crew instructor or evaluator. Experience in state-of-the-art scenario modelling and simulation technologies. Experience instructing in classroom and Simulator environments.
Qualification Requirements
  • Grade 15: University Degree or Higher Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training.
  • Grade 12: Higher Secondary education and higher vocational training or Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training.
  • Principal Quality/Compliance Assurance Manager: Completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or accreditation in quality management, process management/continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or similar certification) and project management (PRINCE2 Practitioner or similar certification).
  • Principal Mission Simulator Operator: Completed military specialist training in military Air Defence/ licensed operational Air Defence functions.
Other Details

Languages Required: • A good command of English both written and spoken

Languages Preferred: • Good command of German language (SLP 3.3.3.3)

Contract Duration: • Newly recruited staff will be initially offered a definite duration contract of three years. Thereafter, an indefinite duration contract might be offered.

Work Modality:

Remuneration: • Salary (Pay Basis) : 5,987.11 Euro (EUR) Monthly • NATO Grade 15 – 7,452.25 • NATO Grade 12 – 5,897.11 • Salary is tax free including (where eligible) expatriation, family and children's allowances and additional privileges for expatriate staff • Education allowance for children (where appropriate) • Excellent private health insurance scheme • Generous annual leave and home leave (if eligible) • Retirement Pension Plan.
