The Peace and Development Intern will provide substantive support in research, information-gathering, report and analysis, identifying entry-points for conflict-sensitive approaches, and providing technical support for peace-related UN programming.
Languages Required: • Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish are required
Languages Preferred: • Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an advantage
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Work Modality: Predominantly office-based. The selected candidate should be available to perform duties primarily in person.
Remuneration: Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
