Overview

This role supports the implementation of digital blended learning strategies and initiatives within the Education Programme, supervising teachers' effective use of digital education and ensuring good quality outputs.

Tasks Summary
  • Support the implementation of digital blended learning strategies and initiatives.
  • Ensure digital learning models align with global best practices.
  • Collaborate in the design and implementation of blended and online learning experiences.
  • Update digital resources and evaluate digital learning materials.
  • Support the development and implementation of digital assessment tools.
  • Explore potential partnerships with third-party content providers.
  • Lead capacity building in digital pedagogy and leadership for teachers and principals.
  • Establish a monitoring mechanism to assess implementation and impact.
  • Provide ongoing support and professional development to teachers.
  • Identify best practices in education digitalization and document lessons learned.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across schools.
  • Promote innovative and evidence-based digital pedagogical approaches.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in digital education.
  • Support the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
  • Ensure accurate data collection from stakeholders.
  • Contribute to reporting against the operational plan of the ICT4E strategy and to project donors.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 3 years of professional experience working in digital education, particularly in digital learning resources and materials, and in the implementation of capacity building for in-service teachers.
  • Strong knowledge of digital teaching and learning tools, educational technologies, and digital learning management systems.
  • Proven experience in the design and implementation of capacity building for teachers in service, preferably in digital education or similar areas.
  • Experience with emerging technologies in the context of education (e.g. AI in education, gamification, etc.).
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office and Microsoft for the education ecosystem.
Qualification Requirements

• First University degree (bachelor’s or equivalent) in digital transformation in education, or digital education, educational technologies, or related field.

Languages Required: English is required. Arabic is required.

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: 1 Year - with the possibility of further extension

Work Modality: Office environment with access to telephone, PC and other automation equipment, internet, and intranet. Some local travel may be required.

Remuneration: LDC- Band F monthly basic salary ranges starting JOD (1,057.700)
