Overview
The role involves developing and delivering adaptive social protection (ASP) training programs in Uzbekistan, focusing on localization of materials and co-facilitation of training sessions.
Tasks Summary
- Participate in training package walk-throughs and rehearsals.
- Support the development of ASP training modules.
- Adapt ASP modules to the Uzbekistan context.
- Translate training materials into Uzbek.
- Co-facilitate Training-of-Trainers (ToT) sessions.
- Deliver roll-out trainings for participants.
- Undertake pre- and post-training evaluations.
- Prepare training session reports.
Experience Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in social protection and/or resilience programming.
- Familiarity with Uzbekistan systems and institutions.
- Strong experience facilitating trainings and workshops, including ToT and interactive adult learning methods.
- Demonstrated ability to draft, adapt and edit technical materials in Uzbek.
- Experience with terminology harmonization is an asset.
- Ability to travel to training locations within Uzbekistan.
Qualification Requirements
• Advanced university degree (Master’s preferred) in social policy, economics, public administration, social sciences, climate adaptation/DRR, or related fields.
