Overview
Provide logistical and operational support at the central vaccine store to ensure effective storage, inventory control, accurate documentation, and monitoring of cold chain integrity.
Tasks Summary
- Support vaccine store operations and documentation, including daily monitoring protocols and monthly reporting on supply chain metrics.
- Enter and quality control data in PAMS, ensuring updated and validated data in national systems.
- Conduct periodic physical verification and reconciliation of vaccine stocks with government officials monthly.
- Support vaccine officials in monitoring cold chain and reporting incidents.
- Assist in managing government-procured vaccines and other logistics, providing monthly summaries and presentations.
- Provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring to vaccine store staff on stock management, storage, and documentation.
- Submit a final report summarizing achievements and lessons learned.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible professional work experience in immunization supply chain and vaccine management, and immunization programmes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of immunization programme management and cold chain systems.
- Working experience of UN agencies is desirable.
- Must have knowledge of the health system in Nepal.
Qualification Requirements
• Master’s degree in public health, Pharmacy, Supply Chain/Vaccine Management with specialized training in Immunization and Vaccine management.
