Fundraising Communications Assistant

Overview

This role provides support for media relationship efforts and content development for fundraising campaigns, aiming to improve brand awareness and encourage donor support.

Tasks Summary

• Collect press-cuttings related to refugee issues and the work of the office.
• Compile and maintain mailing lists for marketing materials and ensure timely dispatch.
• Classify and maintain stock of fundraising and marketing materials.
• Support content development for on/offline fundraising and marketing materials.
• Provide clerical and onsite assistance to events.
• Provide translation assistance on content between English and Traditional Chinese.
• Respond to routine inquiries from various sources.
• Maintain fundraising communication files.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year working experience for high school diploma.
• 0 year of experience for bachelors’ degree.
• Experience in fundraising, public relation or marketing environment gained in Hong Kong market is desirable.
• Proven Experience of managing donor or customer records within a customer relationship database.

Qualification Requirements

• Completion of the Secondary Education.
• Degree is desirable in Business Administration, Journalism, Social Science or related field.

Other Details

Languages Required: Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English.

Languages Preferred: English Cantonese Chinese

Contract Duration: Renewable each calendar year
