Parcours le Monde - Sud Ouest COMMUNE DE TOULOUSE Volunteer opportunity: Vivre Ensemble Ici et Ailleurs - Ville de Toulouse
This ESC project is part of a bigger one: a grouping of 6 organisations (Ville de Toulouse, Samba Résille, Topophone, CMAR, Regain, Parcours le Monde Sud Ouest). These organisations are working together to give opportunities to young Europeans to have a unique experience of volunteering. The volunteer will be engaged in the activities: 1. With Ville de Toulouse: Participation in the implementation of communication actions and events and youth awareness activities. Intervention in youth structures to promote mobility. The volunteer will also be responsible for leading workshops on interculturalism and languages within youth organizations. The aim is to give young people a first introduction to interculturalism. 2. With Parcours le Monde : Promotion of the international mobility: to conduct workshops on mobility and interculturaly, to participate in forums and other events to inform the youth. Communication on medias about the organisation's actions. Promotion of EU and its values. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements La Ville de Toulouse and Parcours Le Monde will take care of the logistical aspects: * accommodation * local transport (metro, bus) * food arrangement * pocket money. The project will take place in Toulouse, in the South of France. The flat or the student residence should be fully equipped. The accommodation should be located near public transports, shops, restaurants and bars as well as cultural attractions. The participant will be accommodated in a single room. The kitchen and the bathroom are either shared or private. Training during the activity Regular group and individual meetings will be organized: welcome meeting within the organisations and with the volunteers of the other organisation. The volunteer will attend the ESC seminars on arrival and mid-term organised by the National Agency. One meeting per month with the tutor ; informal integration times with a mentor ; team meeting ; review meeting at the end of the project (Youthpass, skills, ...). Language support via EU Academy. Participant profile Looking for a motivated volunteer with knowledge of French (speaking, understanding, writing B1-B2). Knowledge of English appreciated. Motivation to work with a young audience and within public and associative sector. Relational and communication skills. Able or curious to work individually and in a team. Open-minded, flexible, proactive.
