Overview
Provide interpretation and translation services for the Khmer language to English and vice versa for various UNHCR protection purposes. The work can be performed remotely.
Tasks Summary
- Translate documents related to Registration, Refugee Status Determination, Resettlement, Community Services, and other Protection purposes.
- Interpret during interviews, counselling sessions, information sessions, briefings, and training.
- Interpret telephone inquiries.
- Report to the Supervisor on calls received.
- Perform other interpretation and translation functions as requested.
Experience Requirements
- Prior experience in interpretation/translation is desirable.
- 1 year relevant experience with High School Diploma; or Bachelor or equivalent or higher.
Qualification Requirements
• Business Administration Secretarial Certificates and/or Licenses.
