Tasks Summary
  • Project objectives: Involving young people into a meaningful voluntary work. Providing volunteers with opportunities for personal growth and competences development. Encouraging creative expression and intercultural dialogue within local community.
  • Various educational programs such as teaching English by play, intuitive creativity, afternoon school club. Assisting the teacher with a daily learning schedule. Infopack: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fEYLVwxQrMC6b2L9EgjRD427SUdVGHkq/view?usp=drive_link Accommodation, food and transport arrangements Accommodation: Well-equipped apartment in the city, separate room for each volunteer, shared kitchen, bathroom and toilette. 10 minute walk to the organization.
  • Transport: Within the city on foot or by public transport. Possibility to rent a bike or a kick scooter for free. Frequent connections (bus, train) are provided to other cities.
  • Food: Volunteers cook by themselves, food money is covered by the project.
  • Communication: Free wi-fi acces in all the locations. Possibility the provide a laptop and a phone with czech sim card. Training during the activity
  • Czech lessons with a lecturer once or twice a week, Online Linguistic Support (entry and final exam).
  • On-Arrival and the Mid-Term training and evaluation by the Czech National Agency.
  • Administrative, health and safety procedures and inner regulations.
  • Individual learning plan including personal aims and objectives (set with coordinator).
  • YouthPass Certificate
  • Possibility to attend educational and leisure activitities within the organisation (language courses, arts, sports...). Participant profile strong motivation for work with children (previous experiences are not necessary)
  • open minded, eager to work, interested in animation activities and workshops preparations
  • active, flexible, creative, responsible approach
  • good communication skills, ready for team work
  • without substance abuse or criminal history
  • participants with lower opportunities (social, cultural, geographical disadvantage, foster home, learning difficulties, minor disability)
  • young people who are looking for a change in their lives, ready for new experience
