Overview
The National Internal Communications Officer will coordinate and implement internal communications activities for the Global Shared Services Centre (GSSC) to strengthen transparency, accountability, and staff engagement.
Tasks Summary
- Contribute technical inputs for the GSSC's internal communication strategy.
- Compile, review, and edit internal communications content for the GSSC’s intranet, emails, newsletters, and leadership updates.
- Draft plain-language summaries, FAQs, and quick-reference materials.
- Coordinate the production of materials for the Leadership Team.
- Act as an internal communications focal point in GSSC.
- Serve as the first point of contact for staff inquiries about internal communications tools.
- Facilitate two-way communication between staff and GSSC leadership.
- Provide training sessions to staff on effective internal communications practices.
- Update internal communications channels.
- Make technical recommendations for improvements to GSSC internal communications platforms.
- Organize and coordinate logistics for GSSC staff engagement activities and internal communications events.
- Monitor internal engagement via a monthly internal communications scorecard.
- Collect and synthesize staff feedback on communications effectiveness.
- Suggest improvements based on data and user feedback.
Experience Requirements
- Two (2) years of relevant working experience if holding a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience drafting content for internal audiences in large organizations.
- Experience working in an international or multicultural environment is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
- Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or
- Bachelor's degree in the above fields with two (2) years of relevant working experience.
