Overview

Provide supervisory, technical, coordination, and operational support for administering benefits and other work assignments, projects, and transactions for efficient and client-centered HR and benefits administration.

Tasks Summary
  • Coordinate, validate, and provide guidance in the administration/processing of entitlements and claims.
  • Assist in decision-making processes by researching precedents and preparing information.
  • Ensure efficient implementation of approved benefits/pension changes.
  • Contribute to contract administration by coordinating with service providers for reconciliation and settlement.
  • Support senior technical local staff and verify workflow steps.
  • Support supervisors in analytical work, projects, and implementation of new processes.
  • Ensure conditions of employment/assignment are captured for monitoring.
  • Coordinate preparation of estimates for accountabilities and payments for staff leaving service.
  • Oversee accurate maintenance of relevant system data and identify enhancement areas.
  • Conduct analytical work and ad-hoc studies to support HR services and benefits.
  • Draft standard and non-standard correspondence and reports.
  • Provide inputs and assist in monitoring accuracy of intranet website, manuals, and handbooks.
  • Document and organize knowledge reference to the HR Knowledge Management Centre.
  • Engage with staff to clarify benefits, entitlements, and policy issues.
  • Coordinate and establish links with other service providers to resolve client issues.
  • Support development and implementation of Business Continuity Plans.
  • Maintain readiness to provide operational back-up for critical BPRS functions during major disruptions.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring budget for specific BPRS budget items.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Experience Requirements

At least 5 years relevant experience with comprehensive knowledge of HR operations covering policies and procedures relating to benefits administration.

Qualification Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration or related fields, with advanced training considered an advantage.

Languages Required: Effective report-writing in English and the national language (as required)

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: initially for a period of up to 3 years, or up to the Normal Retirement Date (NRD), whichever comes earlier
