Overview
The ICT Associate supports the implementation and promotion of technology innovation initiatives in additive manufacturing and Field Remote Infrastructure Monitoring (FRIM) environments. The role contributes to the operationalization, support, and integration of 3D Additive Manufacturing solutions and OT/IoT-based infrastructure monitoring systems.
Tasks Summary
- Support testing, deployment, and operationalization of emerging technologies.
- Assist in prototyping and pilot initiatives.
- Contribute to technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge-sharing materials.
- Monitor technological trends and propose enhancements.
- Support and expand the 3D Printing as a Service initiative.
- Liaise with stakeholders to identify use cases and clarify requirements.
- Develop and optimize 3D models using CAD/CAM software.
- Prepare and optimize print files using slicing software.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain 3D printing equipment.
- Conduct quality control checks on printed components.
- Coordinate and monitor 3DPaaS-related activities.
- Document additive manufacturing workflows and best practices.
- Support sustainability initiatives, including plastic waste recycling.
- Maintain accurate records of projects, material usage, and interactions.
- Deliver workshops and awareness sessions promoting additive manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain web-based dashboards for FRIM data monitoring.
- Support integration of FRIM data with enterprise systems.
- Assist in integrating sensors and monitoring devices.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and remote support for FRIM components.
- Assist in preparing technical specifications, catalogues, and Bills of Materials.
- Prepare user documentation and deliver technical training sessions.
- Assist in project management activities related to FRIM initiatives.
- Participate in the Duty Roster system as required.
- Provide on-call technical support outside normal working hours.
- Respond to incidents and service disruptions.
- Prepare incident reports and follow-up documentation.
Experience Requirements
- Relevant experience is defined as experience in the field of industrial engineering additive manufacturing, infrastructure support, integration, or technical implementation.
- Experience working with IoT/OT/SCADA-based monitoring systems in operational or industrial environments.
- Practical experience in 3D modeling and additive manufacturing (3D printing) processes.
- Desired: Experience supporting industrial data platforms (e.g., AVEVA PI or similar systems) is desirable.
- Desired: Knowledge of AI applications in industrial engineering or automation environments is desirable.
- Desired: Experience with Python programming or basic scripting for automation or data analysis is desirable.
Qualification Requirements
- Secondary school (or equivalent) with 6 years of relevant experience OR
- A technical diploma preferably in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, Automation, IoT, Control Systems, computer science or any other related field with 4 years of relevant experience OR
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferably in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, Automation, IoT, Control Systems, computer science or any other related field with 2 years of relevant experience.
