Overview

The I-24/7 Deployment Officer assists member countries in deploying I-24/7 products and services, acting as a liaison for technical implementation and coordination.

Tasks Summary
  • Assist beneficiary Member Countries in deploying I-24/7 products and services.
  • Act as liaison between Business Project Manager and IS teams.
  • Play a pivotal role in the technical implementation and deployment of I-24/7 services.
  • Advise on technical, operational, and financial issues related to I-24/7 deployment.
  • Develop and provide IT project plans and schedules.
  • Participate in the procurement process and evaluate bids.
  • Develop and implement a sustainable strategic deployment plan.
  • Study issues related to I-24/7 system deployment and provide recommendations.
  • Work daily with the Business Project Manager for planning.
  • Establish close working relationships with member countries and provide guidance.
  • Ensure technical guidelines and business prerequisites are met prior to Go-Live.
  • Execute or oversee acceptance testing.
  • Monitor, report, and coordinate technical aspects of I-24/7 system deployment.
  • Consolidate and provide comprehensive progress reports.
  • Utilize and leverage Project Management and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and prepare detailed reports on deployment progress.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Experience Requirements
  • At least three years in the area in question, and where necessary, management experience.
  • Experience in coordinating and collaborating with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Knowledge/work experience in the Asia-Pacific region is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with INTERPOL or similar international organizations and their operational frameworks is a plus.
  • Technical background in IT would be an asset.
Qualification Requirements

• Three years’ education at a University or other specialized higher education establishment.

Languages Required: • Working knowledge of English is required.

Languages Preferred: • Fluency in English is highly desirable. • Proficiency in a second official languages of the Organization (Arabic, French or Spanish) would be an additional asset.
