Overview

The Information Management Specialist will lead data management for the P2P consortium, overseeing beneficiary databases, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting reporting and tool development for data collection and analysis.

Tasks Summary
  • Lead the design, roll-out and implementation of IM/knowledge management systems.
  • Support with the design/management of trackers and databases for all activities.
  • Act as the main technical focal point in the administration and roll-out of the beneficiary information management (IM) system.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to field and partner teams, including delivering trainings.
  • Collaborate with area office teams, MEAL/IM teams, and program teams to ensure appropriate data management systems.
  • Assist with developing data collection tools for quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Generate reports, trend analyses, and information updates for various audiences.
  • Support MEAL and program teams with compiling beneficiary lists.
  • Coordinate with country teams to ensure all activity trackers/databases are up to date.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly cumulative dashboard to track beneficiaries reached.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Information Management within the humanitarian field.
  • Demonstrated experience with developing and managing beneficiary information management systems and relational databases.
  • Previous experience with ActivityInfo is an advantage.
  • High level of proficiency with developing automated PowerBI dashboards.
  • High level of proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel.
  • Experience with analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
  • High level of proficiency with KoBo toolbox.
  • Experience with advanced statistical analysis software (SPSS, R, Stata,…) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with R Script is an advantage.
  • Experience with protection and economic recovery programming is an advantage.
  • Capacity to produce high-quality graphic oriented reports and analysis.
  • Experience in working in complex and volatile contexts.
  • Experience with organising trainings for both technical IM staff and non-technical experts.

Languages Required: • Fluency in English, French and Arabic (both written and verbal)
