Overview
Support the development of UNICEF Kenya’s Country Programme Document (CPD 2027-2032) by providing technical support, guidance, and quality assurance for strategic processes and document finalization.
Tasks Summary
- Conceptualize and finalize key process steps and a detailed work plan for CPD development preparation.
- Provide guidance, quality assurance, and templates for the CPD development process, including RBM orientation, deprivation prioritization, theories of change, programme notes, Results and Resources Plan and Framework, and consultations.
- Draft a child-centred CPD for submission and finalize it with feedback.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in leading strategic planning processes.
- Experience in leading UNICEF CPD development processes.
- Familiarity with UNICEF planning tools, approaches, and guidelines.
- Previous experience in similar assignments (strategic planning, developing CPDs) with UNICEF, ideally within the Eastern and Southern African Region.
Qualification Requirements
• A master`s degree in Social Sciences, Development / International Studies.
