Overview

To lead a comprehensive range of Supply Chain support activities, performing research and analysis, and providing recommendations to support the efficient and effective supply chain services. This position will provide analytics and contributions to supply chain activities, or contribute to the planning and coordination of field supply chain operations.

Tasks Summary
  • Define and implement the supply chain strategy within WFP policies and procedures.
  • Manage all Procurement and logistics operations.
  • Support the monitoring of supply chain activities.
  • Contribute to resource mobilization initiatives.
  • Lead and participate in regional supply chain and logistics meetings.
  • Oversee identification, mobilization, implementation, and reporting of special logistics On-Demand services.
  • Prepare accurate, comprehensive and timely reports, dashboards and other visual materials on supply chain activities.
  • Build and maintain productive partnerships with counterparts.
  • Contribute to preparedness actions and support quick emergency response.
  • Provide technical contribution to market analysis and supply chain network mapping.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis and budget reviews.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements
  • 5 Years' experience coordinating supply chain activities with other units/ teams;
  • Experience conducting analytical and conceptual work in support of strategy design and implementation;
  • Experience in coordinating periodic planning across functions and with partners;
  • Experience in analysing and supporting the implementation of end-to-end supply chain operations;
  • Experience working with WFP partners;
  • Experience in implementing supply chain improvement initiatives;
  • Experience supervising staff.
Qualification Requirements

• Advanced University degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Logistics, or other related field, or First University degree with additional years of related work experience and/or training/courses.
