The internship supports the Regional Coordination and Membership Team within the UNEP FI Secretariat Team, focusing on engagement with supporters and members, and membership activities.
No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme.
Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); OR enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent); OR have graduated with a university degree and commence the internship within a one-year period of graduation. Final year undergraduate or master’s degree student in economics, political sciences, sustainability and/or environmental studies, development studies, business administration, finance.
Languages Required: Fluency in oral and written English is required.
Languages Preferred: Knowledge of another UN Language is desirable.
Contract Duration: 6 months
Work Modality: Home Based or Geneva or Brussels
Remuneration: Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
