Overview
The Communications Support Intern will assist the WBA Communication team with public advocacy, research, programme coordination, events management, and strategic communication. This role involves managing social media platforms, developing communication materials, and promoting publications.
Tasks Summary
- Support the development of marketing strategies and management of social media platforms.
- Support the crafting of publicity and communication materials, including social media content, blogs, human interest stories, videos, and branding materials.
- Support communications efforts related to the International Pride Awards.
- Monitor media coverage and develop periodic analytics reports.
- Monitor current events and trending topics for engagement opportunities.
- Assist the Programme team with day-to-day programme activities, including support to partners, organization of events, and preparation of reports.
- Assist in research and monitoring LGBTI+ inclusion and rights issues.
- Facilitate knowledge building, usage, and dissemination of products.
